Pella is the name of multiple cities, named after Terran Pella founded by Archelos I at 399 BC to become the new capital of the Kingdom of Makedonia. However, there are other historical Pella, such as Pella, Jordan, whose Roman barbarian successor was a part of the Dekapoleis.
